Pesonality Test !!

So i did my personality test via www.41q.com
And this is what I found about myself
Manish's personality type: "Dreamy Idealist"

Quiet, reflective and idealistic. Interested in serving humanity. Well-developed value system, which they strive to live in accordance with. Extremely loyal. Adaptable and laid-back unless a strongly-held value is threatened. Usually talented writers. Mentally quick and able to see possibilities. Interested in understanding and helping people.

Careers that could fit Manish include:

Writers, artists, counselors, social workers, English teachers, fine arts teachers, child care workers, clergy, missionaries, psychologists, psychiatrists, scientists, political activists, editors, education consultants, journalists, religious educators, social scientists.

Characteristics

Renowned persons with similar personality types:

Albert Schweitzer, theologian, musician and physician
George Orwell, author and journalist
J.R.R. Tolkien, writer
James Taylor, singer-songwriter and guitarist
John F. Kennedy Jr., lawyer, journalist and publisher
Lisa Kudrow, actress
Mary, mother of Jesus
Peter Jackson, filmmaker
Diana Frances Spencer, princess of Wales
William Shakespeare, English poet and dramatist

My Response to the outcome
My first thought to the outcome was"Not Bad". It described all the qualities in me. Yes, I am a idealistic type of person and i like to serve humanity. And yes I'm a little easy going and adaptable when it comes to certain things. And its true if you believe it or not i have a great IQ and I'm pretty quick at solving problems. And its also true that I tend to spend more time with other people and doing my private business.
The only thing I disagree with is it says normally writers and artists tend to have this skills. But I in other hand, do not like to read and write books. I always preferred E-books through out my life nor my writing skills are that good. Other that this the above description fit me perfectly. Though I was unhappy to see the careers i could fit in because i always preferred a administrative type of job.

My views towards the personality-meter-bar section
Well the first bar shows that I'm a introverted type of person. As I'm always more concerned with the inner world of the mind and I enjoy thinking, exploring thoughts and feelings. This shows I'm a introverted person. But since I always like to hangout with my friends and I m always first in participating in social activities. It shows I'm a Extroverted type of person. So I'm really confused in this.

As in the second bar the cursor is in the middle. So, I think i am both a sensing and a intuitive person. Ya, its true also because when i make a certain judgement i look both facts and patterns.

For the third bar it says I am a feeling type of person rather than a thinker. For this i have no comments it is what it is.

And last but not the least the fourth bar says that i am a perceiving type of person rather than judging. I hundred percent agree to this. I am that type of person who dosen't like to organize things that much. I do not make long term plans or goals. I'm that type of person who is adaptable and like to deal with situations when it comes.

My first post of 2nd semester

Module CC1008
Task 1

Below are two of the abilities that i should develop as a computing student and I should aim to acquire during my course.

1) Exhibit practical and transferable skills including relevant approaches to group activities

We know that only being a topper in the class in studies wont get us anywhere, a good employee must also acquire and show many practical skills to be hired in a renowned company. Not only practical skills, a good employee must also posses many transferable skills like leadership, Motivator, Friendliness and so on. This things are not taught in any course it is something that we have to acquire our self.
Better group working skills is also required for a successful employee. We must be able to work in a group, solving problems with others, dividing tasks, and having a better understanding of the group.
When we go for the job interview, they check for these skills in a candidate rather than his background. so I would like to develop a good sense of practical and transferable skills during this course.

2) Use available tools to construct and document computer applications

I once met a person who did his bachelor in computer engineering,  when i asked him to fix a software for me he was unable to do it. there I  learned holding a degree is only not important what matters is how much you know about your working field.
If I want to do a bachelor in IT then i should be able to use all the resources provided to me. I should be able to develop something out of nothing. I should be able to make good software's which are needed in the market. Not only this i should be able to come up with better and innovative computer applications to solve the problems that people face daily. I must not say that i don't have the proper resources for it so i will not do it. I should be able to use what is available to me in the construction and documentation of a good computer application.

My achievements and expectations

My Achievements and my Expectations
People have outstanding capacity for mind blowing achievements. There are also some people who have extraordinary capacities that take them to a whole new level. When I look back over my life so far, the one of the best achievements  that I had in my life till now is me completing my A levels with high grades and higher marks in computing. Since this subject had always fascinated me, it was a good feeling to get such high scores in the subject.
My high school life has helped me a lot to shape the way for my college experiences. I also took many advanced classes. These classes helped me better to understand the concept of programming and I was also able to develop a run time software for a well known company as a part of my project.
From my college experience, I hope to learn many new skills and come out as a industry ready graduate. Obviously college is a part of life where students turn into responsible individuals. So, I expect to get many opportunities to prove myself and to take on many responsibilities. Since I will be given latest and most up-to-date IT skills, I hope to attain technical and non-technical skills necessary for me to demonstrate a professional attitude and work successfully.
In college I also expect to be involved in new club and activities which will help me, to develop good leadership and professionalism quality. I hope that I can find a balance in my studies and extracurricular activities.
In summary, my greatest accomplishment is yet to happen and the new experiences that I will face are long awaited. I hope my college life will open many new doors that I have never been exposed to and I hope that I can become an active member of the college family.

About myself and the reason why i joined London Met

To be honest, i am not quite the study oriented or class topper type of student and my grades agree with me better than anyone. But I am quite a hard worker and a fast learner. Even though i do not take my studies that seriously when I strive to do something, I achieve a good taste of satisfaction. and about my fast learner skills ,it amazes me more than anyone. Other than this I am a friendly and a down to earth person. My friends share their problems to me more than their parents. My friends say I am a very funny and interesting boy with a good sense of humor. As soon as I meet new people who are up to me I feel extremely comfortable with them. I believe that friendship is one of the most important values in human life. We exchange new ideas, find many interesting things about each other, have new experiences. I appreciate friendship and people who surround me. I also must say that i am a enthusiastic person with lots of hobbies and interests’. I am also very adventurous and like to travel a lot. The two things I like to do the most is probably "eating a lot of food" and "surfing the net”. Believe me food, me and the net are like the best golden trio ever. Other than eating the other thing I’m good at is sports. I like to play a lot of games, football being my favorite. Just like every gadget have its defects. There are some thing which are bad about me. The first thing everybody doesn't like about me is that I hate books. Believe me reading is not my thing, how interesting the book may be ,i just hate reading. The other thing I hate is playing mind testing games like chess and checkers. Other than this the only bad quality I have according to me is I’m very short tempered. I get easily angry. Since the beginning of my high school, i wanted to work in computing field. The jobs and the problem solving part always exited me.So i completed my high school by doing A levels mainly in the computing faculty.Since I passed my high school with a British degree,i wanted to complete my bachelor also from a British affiliated college. So, when i heard about Islington college ,there were no second thoughts in my mind and i just joined in.So this is how i became a part of London met family. I am just a normal person living his life in this competitive world. I have same problems like everyone and I just try to fit in with others. I try my best to do something better for the future and become a responsible person in the future. Just going with the flow if you know what I mean.
